The recognizes the achievement of surgical technology students and supports the learning and professional development of its members. Students must meet the following criteria to become a member of this prestigious honor society: completion of 85% of the graduation requirements from an accredited surgical technology program; maintain no less than a cumulative 3.75 GPA (based on a 4.0 grading scale); maintain at least a 95% overall attendance rate; be a good school citizen with no disciplinary actions; project qualities of integrity and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities; and be an active member of AST.
