Construction Management (MS)
A candidate for admission to the Construction Management (MS) program must have the following:
- An undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or B.S.), Architectural Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Interior Design, Construction Management, Planning, Business, Finance, Management or a degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0) in an appropriate bachelor’s degree program.
- A personal statement that describes how obtaining a graduate degree from New England Institute of Technology will enable you to meet your personal goals as a professional in construction management.

Cybersecurity Defense (MS)
A candidate for admission to the Cybersecurity Defense (MS) program must have the following:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0) in an appropriate bachelor’s degree program.

Engineering Management (MS)
A candidate for admission to our Engineering Management (MS) program must have the following:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0) in an appropriate bachelor’s degree program.
- A personal statement that describes how obtaining the Master of Science in Engineering degree from New England Institute of Technology will enable you to meet your personal career goals. Information Technology (MS)
A candidate for admission to our Information Technology (MS) program must have the following:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0) in an appropriate bachelor’s degree program.
- A current resume that reflects considerable professional experience.
- A personal statement that describes how obtaining a master’s degree in Information Technology from New England Institute of Technology will enable you to meet your personal career goals. In your statement, specifically discuss your career goal(s) and discuss how ºÚÁÏÉç’s unique learning environment is integral to achieving these goals.
All international applicants are required to meet a minimum standard of English proficiency. This requirement can be met if:
Your native language is English, or
You take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS)Â and receive an average score that is equal to or higher than 6.5 -
Nursing (MS)
A candidate for admission to the Master of Science in Nursing program must have the following:
- An official transcript from a bachelor’s in nursing-accredited educational institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (out of 4.0).
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN within the past 2 years.
- An unencumbered United States license as a Registered Nurse.
- Documentation of having successfully passed a bachelor-level statistics and health assessment course with a grade of B+ or better, if transferring the course from another institution.
- A personal statement that describes how obtaining a master’s degree in Nursing from New England Institute of Technology will enable you to meet your personal career goals. In your statement, specifically discuss your nursing background, including current nursing practice and educational history. Also discuss why you are applying to the MSN program and how your current work experience and achievement of this degree will contribute to nursing practice. Please also discuss your plans for completing the MSN program.

Occupational Therapy (MS)
A candidate for admission to our Occupational Therapy (MS) program must have the following:
- An associate degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited educational institution.
- Current certification as an occupational therapy assistant by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (COTA).
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (out of 4.0) in occupational therapy from an ACOTE-accredited educational institution.
- A personal statement that responds to the following:
- The mission of the ºÚÁÏÉç Occupational Therapy program is to prepare Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to become leaders in critical thinking and problem-solving for service management in health care and community programs.
- In accordance with our program mission, please provide a concise and well-constructed response to all of the following key points:
- In your own words, what does it mean to be a leader?
- What compelled you to change your career path from COTA to OTR?
- How do you envision yourself as a leader in the field of Occupational Therapy after completion of this degree?

Physical Therapist Assistant to Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Bridge Program
Admission requirements:
- Evidence of having graduated from a CAPTE accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Active, unencumbered PTA license in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- One-year full time experience (or equivalent) working as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant within 3 years of matriculation.
- Evidence of having completed a bachelor’s degree and all prerequisite requirements OR good standing in the ºÚÁÏÉç early assurance, BS in Health Practice Management to DPT Program (refer to the HPM Program Information Sheet and Program Handbook for additional information).
- Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 and minimum prerequisite math/science/statistics/psychology GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of no lower than C. Students must demonstrate a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0/4.0 and a minimum math/science/statistics/psychology prerequisite grade point average of 3.0/4.0.
- Two professional letters of reference. One must be from a supervising PT. It is recommended one from a past professor if available or secondary supervisory reference if not. Letters from family and friends will not be accepted.
- TOEFL/IELTS scores if applicable.
Prerequisite Requirements for the DPT program
- 2 terms of introductory level Biology
- 2 terms of Chemistry with lab
- 2 terms of Physics with lab
- 2 terms of Anatomy & Physiology with lab
- Introductory level Psychology
- Applied Research Statistics

Speech Language Pathology (MS)
A candidate for admission to the MS SLP program must meet the following criteria:
- An earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 with a focus on communication disorders would allow the most seamless admission without requiring pre-requisite coursework.
OR completed the required undergraduate credits (completed within the last 7 years):
- 18 credit hours in basic human communication processes and audiology that includes: anatomy of the speech & hearing mechanism, phonetics, normal development of speech and language, speech science, hearing science, and audiology
If the undergraduate cumulative GPA is 2.5-2.9, a candidate with at least a 3.0 GPA in communication disorders coursework would be considered.
- 3 credit hours in biological sciences (Biological Science must be human and/or animal biology.)
- 3 credit hours in human neuroanatomy (Appropriate course titles include, but are not limited to, Human Neuroanatomy, Human Neuroscience, Physiological Psychology. A neuroanatomy/neuroscience course within a communication sciences and disorders department is acceptable.)
- 3 credit hours in physical science (Physical Science may be either physics or chemistry. Courses covering physics and/or chemistry but not explicitly named as such may be used to fulfill the physical science requirement subject to program director approval.)
- 3 credit hours in mathematics, not including statistics
- 3 credit hours in statistics
- 6 credit hours in the behavioral and/or social sciences (a course in Developmental Psychology/Child Growth and Development must be included)
- College level coursework in biology, social and behavioral sciences, and physical sciences (that includes physics or chemistry).

- A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (out of 4.0).
- If 2.9 or lower, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (out of 4.0) in the undergraduate major of communication disorders, or communicative disorders coursework completed (as listed above) is required.
- Documentation of 25 clinical hours of guided observation in speech language pathology per ASHA standards (see ASHA guidelines).
- A personal statement discussing your experience in the field or with people with communication challenges, what is motivating you to seek your master’s degree in speech language pathology, and any other relevant information that will show your passion for the field. (see your Admission’s Officer).
- Readiness to begin advanced level college work as determined by an assessment of skill levels in writing.
- A current resume.
- For international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 79 (out of 120), or International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of 6.5 (out of 9).

Family Nurse Practictioner Bridge Program, ASN to MSN
A candidate for admission to the AS – MSN FNP program must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants for admission must have an AS in Nursing from an accredited nursing program with an overall minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
- Complete an information session with a university admissions officer.
- Apply for enrollment including a personal statement and a current professional résumé or curriculum vitae along with the application. Applications may be completed online at www.neit.edu.
- Submit an official transcript showing degrees completed. Completed nursing programs must be accredited from: NLN, ACEN, CCNE or NLNCC accredited institutions.
- Provide a certificate, signed by a physician/provider, confirming immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, receive a booster dose of tetanus and diphtheria (Tdap) within the last ten years, and 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine or a positive titer (Other requirements may be determined by the clinical organizations).
- Applicants must be academically qualified to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam but may take up to two terms of courses while they are preparing to take their boards.
- Proof of a valid, unencumbered RN license from any state in the United States or U.S. territory must be submitted prior to student’s third term of the curriculum or they cannot progress in the program
- An American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS Provider) card.
